VOLUNTEER

GET INVOLVED

EVERYONE HAS A PART TO PLAY

At ReCentre, Church isn’t something we simply attend;

it’s a community we

build together.

WHERE COULD YOU SERVE?

We believe God has given every one of us gifts, passions and experiences that can be used to serve others and build His Kingdom. Volunteering is a great way to get involved, meet people, discover where you fit and play your part in the life of ReCentre.

Whether you love being around people, prefer working behind the scenes, have a particular skill to share, or simply want to lend a hand,

there’s a place for you to serve.

HELP PEOPLE TRY ALPHA

Help create spaces where people can explore life, faith and meaning through Alpha. We’re particularly passionate about bringing Alpha into local schools, giving young people a safe space to ask big questions and explore faith for themselves.

Whether you can help facilitate discussions, build relationships or offer practical support, there’s a place for you on the team.

Helping young people find Christian community

Through GAP Youth we seek to gather young people into Christian community in Sligo, Awaken them to Christ's love and Propel them into Kingdom Work in their local community.

There is a range of ways you can help out at youth, from preparing snacks, facilitating games, to giving talks and leading bible study.

CREATE A WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE

Welcome and Hospitality are top priorities in all we do at ReCentre. Help people feel at home from the moment they arrive by serving tea and coffee, and preparing light refreshments.

Help create space for people to worship

Whether you sing, play an instrument, have an ear for sound, an eye for visuals, or enjoy working behind the scenes, there’s a place to use your gifts.

By serving in worship you will help our gatherings run smoothly and create an environment where the focus stays on Jesus.

Help us care for the space we call home

There are a number of ways you can help us maintain our space at McGee House. From cleaning and maintenance to setting up the room, keeping things tidy and tackling those practical jobs that always need done, you can help make ReCentre a safe, welcoming and well cared for place for everyone who comes through the doors.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms..”
